Mad Cows for your nerves Thursday, February 22nd, 2007

Mad Cows – The Undah-Dub and Breeze – have been regularly in the studio for close to one year, working on several projects, including well-received releases on Fatal Music (Welcome to No York) and Distant Drums Recordings (Bump of House and Start It Off), just to name a few.

Recently, they’ve been putting all their effort in completing Breeze‘s first full-length studio album and polishing a couple of their mixes for the upcoming SPIES, their first release on Decibel NYC Recordings (www.decibelnyc.com). Alex Celler – another label mate – has submitted a hard-hitting tribal dub mix that is sure to please our fans across the atlantic. And word around the office is that a fresh new label addition – Orduña – is working on a floor-thumpin’ latin-flavored mix to complete this package. Slated for release in March, just in time for the upcoming Winter Music Conference 2007, there is great trepidation and anticipation surrounding this upcoming release.

In a rare glimpse into their full working schedule, we were able to sneak a small digital camera into one of the Mad Cows studio session and capture a few brief moments of their production time. We admit the video is amateurish, grainy and short, but in the future, expect more and better footage – all in an effort to give you a direct glimpse into what we do.
